Witness: Chia told me to make payment

KUALA LUMPUR: The former corporate director of Perwaja Steel Sdn Bhd told the Sessions Court that Tan Sri Eric Chia Eng Hock instructed him to make a payment for an undisclosed amount to NKK Corporation Japan in 1994. 

Lawrence Lim Chiang Cheah, 54, testified that he later found out that it was for 2.8918bil yen (RM76.4mil at the time).
