THE Inland Revenue Board has started taking legal action against Chinese cemetery managements to recover taxes amounting to more than RM100mil, reported Nanyang Siang Pau yesterday.
The daily reported yesterday that the management of a cemetery in Perak owed the board RM380,000, while another in the state had received a letter asking them to pay RM360,000 in income taxes and fines.
