KOTA KINABALU: Eleven “thieving” wild monkeys have been captured by the Wildlife Department after the pack of primates continuously raided homes of villagers in the east coast of Sabah.

The monkeys, all of the endangered long-tailed macaque species locally known as Monyet Bakau, were captured over the last two weeks after traps were set up near Kampung Tabanak in the agricultural district of Lahad Datu.
