KUALA LUMPUR: A trader has been charged with cheating another businessman of RM3mil by duping him into thinking that the money was for a Pahang deputy mentri besar’s Umno election campaign eight years ago.
Kim Chean Han, 61, pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here yesterday to two counts of dishonestly inducing Lim Wan Heong, 58, into believing that he was instructed by Datuk Hasan Ariffin to collect the money on two occasions.
