SHAH ALAM: Selangor will review a concession awarded to a company to carry out logging at Hutan Lipur Bukit Lagong in Selayang if the activity would lead to pollution of Sungai Ulu Jinjang, which is the main source of water for 23 orang asli families from the Temuan tribe who live in the area.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo said the logging permit for Syarikat Sinar Baiduri Sdn Bhd would be revoked if the Environmental Impact Assessment report showed that the logging activity would pollute Sungai Ulu Jinjang, which was classified as a Class A river.
