KUALA LUMPUR: All science and technology research and development (R&D) grants will include financing for patent and intellectual property rights registration, Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis said.
He said with the additional financing, scientists would no longer face problems in registering their R&D results as their patented and intellectual property rights.
