KUANTAN: Entrepreneurs od small and medium-scale industries (SMIs) lack the initiative to learn more about their business or even loans and assistance packages that are offered by the Government, said Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen.

She revealed that information gathered from a seminar on financial solutions for SMI entrepreneurs recently found that many of them were unaware of the existence of Bank Negara's Small and Medium-Scale Entrepreneur Committee that was formed last year to provide financial support and advice to them.
