KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Environmental Protection Association has called on the Government to reconsider its decision to extend the Kota Kinabalu International Airport instead of relocating it.

Association president Datin Sue Jayasuriya said in a statement yesterday that it believed it would be better for the Government to relocate the current airport in view of environmental issues, such as sea reclamation, if extension was carried out.
