KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Sharifah Aini has sued an entertainment writer for slander, claiming she had made spiteful remarks about her concert during a conversation with another journalist six months ago.

In her statement of claim, Sharifah Aini said Fauziah Mohd Johar, or Zieman, had maliciously remarked to Saodah Ismail of Agendadaily Dot Com that she had failed in her performance in the Konsert Simponi Ghazal Johor Bersama Sharifah Aini (the Johor Ghazal Symphony Concert with Sharifah Aini).
