KUCHING: The Sarawak Teachers Union has expressed support for the proposed appointment of two state ministers in charge of education affairs in Sarawak, similar to that of the federal government.
Its president, William Ghani, said: Matters pertaining to primary and secondary education should be handled separately from tertiary education as more and more universities are opening up in Sarawak.
