JAKARTA: Overall support for the East Asia Summit is gaining momentum, with China offering to host the second round in 2007.
China’s proposal, which was tendered at the Asean Plus Three meeting here yesterday, came after Malaysia had announced on Tuesday its hosting of the first summit in 2005.
