PUSPAKOM, the computerised vehicle inspection centre, has urged the Government to immediately ban the use of retread tyres, which do not meet international standards.
Utusan Malaysia quoted Puspakom chief executive officer Salamat Wahit as saying that the use of retread tyres would expose consumers to danger as the tyres could peel off easily.
