KOTA KINABALU: Petrol stations must consider installing close-circuit cameras to ensure consumers observe safety rules and help deter crime, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shafie Apdal said.
He said such a move would not only help in ensuring consumers observed the no-smoking and no-cell phone ruling at petrol kiosks but also check on crime like credit card frauds.
