PENANG: Penanti assemblyman Datuk Abdul Jalil Abdul Majid told an Election Court that the situation at the vote-tallying centre of the Permatang Pauh parliamentary constituency was chaotic on the day of the recount.
Abdul Jalil said the situation at the Tuanku Bainun Teachers College tallying centre in Bukit Mertajam was lacking in security when the recount was under way on March 22.
