PENANG: Sailing into uncharted territories, shipwreck-prone areas and pirate-infested waters will not deter a group of 30 Malaysian scientists from embarking on a 42-day voyage to discover the natural treasures of the South China Sea.
Under the Roses Malaysia (Research on the Seas and Islands of Malaysia) expedition, the team is set to sail off on a Malaysian research vessel, Allied Commander, from here on Thursday.
