Jailed Thai farmer gets five more years

KUALA LUMPUR: A Thai farmer, who is now serving a 17-year jail term for two offences last year, was slapped with an additional five years' jail for trying to kill a policeman by pointing a revolver at him. 

Sitthichai Palama was sentenced to five years' jail after he admitted to attempting to kill Kons Razisham Dan, 22, at KL Hospital at 7.28pm on Nov 27 last year.
