KUCHING: The Penans and other minority groups make up the majority of the 2,400 hardcore poor households in Sarawak, said Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Alfred Jabu.
More than 80% of the hardcore poor families are found in the interior and rural areas and earn RM300 or less a month, he said.
