PENANG: Another well-wisher has offered to make durian ice-cream for former German navy officer Willi Hans Boehm, who is dying of lung cancer in an Australian hospital.

“My durian ice-cream might not be as nice as the one from the Kek Seng coffee shop here but just in case the Penang ice-cream cannot make it through the Australian Customs, I can make some in Perth for Boehm,” said N.N Tan, 33, who called The Star yesterday.
