LUNDU: The easy availability of alcoholic drinks has made it difficult for the Sarawak Government to stop Malays from consuming liquor, said Assistant Minister in the Chief Ministers Office Datuk Awang Tengah Ali Hassan.
He said although the authorities had banned sales of liquor in Muslim areas, alcoholic drinks were still available in many shops.
