PETALING JAYA: Only one in 10 SPM school leavers who applied for Public Service Department (PSD) scholarships to study medicine and other critical courses overseas was successful in securing a place.
Of the total of 13,340 applicants, 1,300 were offered scholarships following interviews that were held for the 3,896 shortlisted candidates.
