Festival in full swing as open house starts

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s Harvest Festival went into full swing when the national-level Kaamatan open house was launched at the city’s Padang Merdeka here last evening. 

Despite overcast skies and a brief spell of rain, thousands of people thronged the field to witness the five-hour extravaganza which was launched by Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Ahmadshah Abdullah at about 8.30pm.
