Vehicle parts racket busted

KUALA LANGAT: The police are investigating possible links between some Road Transport Department (JPJ) officials and secret societies over incidents of vehicles assembled from cannibalised parts. 

Under the alleged “partnership”, some vehicle owners are said to have been paid RM800 to purposely lose their vehicle registration cards.
