SANDAKAN: A twist of fate has ended the 213-day ordeal of four Borneo Paradise Eco Resort workers, who were held hostage by the Abu Sayyaf terror group in the mountainous jungles of southern Philippines.
The three Indonesians and a Filipino were handed over to four intermediaries who had gone to the Tawi Tawi group of islands expecting three other hostages, including two Malaysians grabbed from the East Ocean 2 tugboat in Sulu Sea on April 11, to be freed.
