Factory worker gets 15 years in jail instead

PUTRAJAYA: A 24-year-old factory worker escaped death yesterday after a drug trafficking charge against him was amended to one of possessing ganja. 

Chief Judge of Malaya Justice Haidar Mohd Noor, who sat with Federal Court judges Justices Abdul Malek Ahmad and Siti Norma Yaakob, told K. Saravanan that he should be grateful for not being sentenced to death for the offence.
