KUALA LUMPUR: Eighteen loan sharks have been nabbed in simultaneous operations in Ampang here, signalling the start of a police blitz on the flourishing illegal money lending trade.
Declaring that they have tolerated “enough nonsense from the blood sucking satans,” police said illegal money lending now involved secret societies and gangsters and if left unchecked could lead to more serious social problems.
