EU and Russia to push for Mid-East peace

SEPANG: The European Union (EU) and Russia have assured the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) that they would use their influence on the United States to push for road map for peace in Palestine.  

The organisation was given this assurance by Ireland, which holds the EU presidency, and Russia during recent visits there by an OIC Foreign Ministers delegation. The EU, Russia United States and United Nations are in the quartet working on the road map.
