PUTRAJAYA: The Government will make the mediation process mandatory before the Industrial Court hears cases in a bid to reduce backlog of cases.
Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr Fong Chan Onn said the court currently faced a backlog of 1,000 cases, and would soon see another 6,000 cases being referred to it by the Industrial Relations Department.
