Two Customs officers killed during chase

KOTA KINABALU: Two Customs enforcers were killed and another was seriously injured during a high-speed car chase with a suspected smuggler between Kunak and Semporna in Sabah’s east coast early yesterday. 

Elvandy @ Muzahid Chendi, 28, and Samsulbahri Samuddin, 31, who was driving the vehicle, died when their Toyota Land Cruiser skidded and crashed into a concrete embankment at Sungai Sipit at 2.15am.
