PETALING JAYA: Five election petitions were filed by both the Barisan Nasional and opposition parties in separate High Courts yesterday to nullify the results of three state and two parliamentary seats during the recent general election.
In Penang, religious preacher Abd Khalid Rasid of PAS, who contested against the Prime Minister for the Kepala Batas parliamentary seat, filed a petition at the High Court to nullify the results.
