KRABI: Malaysian and Thai police have agreed to conduct joint operations to track down gunrunners, drug cartels and human traffickers to wipe out cross-border organised crime.
Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Bakri Omar said that for a start, it had been agreed that the Malaysian police would take charge of drug-related cases while their Thai counterparts would be in charge of cases involving gunrunning.
