Gua Tempurung’s tourist facilities in appalling state

IPOH: Despite its reputation as one of the world’s best tourist destinations due to its fascinating limestone formations, the facilities at Gua Tempurung are in an appalling state, said Deputy Tourism Minister Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. 

“It is embarrassing to see the toilets and bathrooms in a deplorable state. There are also not enough safety features for tourists,” he said, adding that only one tourist guide was available.
