PENANG: An expatriate housewife was awarded a RM2,893.50 refund after sacking a “sleepy” Indonesian maid who could not wake up despite having two alarm clocks.
Lee Chen Fan, 44, from Hong Kong, who moved to a condominium here with her family last April, said her maid’s oversleeping had caused her three-year-old twin daughters to miss going to nursery.
