Baby killing case put off to May 25

IPOH: The Sessions Court has postponed to May 25 the case of a housewife charged with killing her 10-day-old infant by stabbing her in the stomach with a pair of scissors. 

Judge Rasidah Chik granted an application by prosecuting officer Asst Supt Mohd Rani Abdullah for a postponement as he had yet to obtain a letter from Hospital Bahagia in Tanjung Rambutan to determine if Jamilah Ahmad was fit for trial.
