KUALA LUMPUR: The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) has called on state governments to have a re-look at native customary laws, which apparently diminish the rights of indigenous people over land they have been occupying for years.
The commission proposed that state governments form a committee to review the laws at the state Attorney-Generals Chambers level.
