MIRI: The 13-year-old student believed to have dumped her newborn baby in a school toilet in Limbang will not be placed under formal detention even though the police have obtained a remand order for her.
In a humanitarian move in light of the possibility that she may have been a victim of incest and had abandoned the baby out of desperation, police have decided to place her in the care of Limbang Hospital, but under police supervision.
