CIDB registration process cut from 60 days to seven

KUALA LUMPUR: Contractors in the construction industry, which contributes more than RM40bil a year to the economy, now can be registered in less than a week with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB). 

CIDB, under a move to improve its “public delivery system” and reduce bureaucracy, has decided to do away with the 60-day registration processing period.
