KOTA KINABALU: Police in southern Philippines are on the trail of wanted bandit leader Ladjip Jamadam, believed to be hiding in the Tawi Tawi group of islands. He and his gunmen are believed to be holding two Malaysian sailors and an Indonesian skipper captive.
We have identified the leader and his group, said Supt Isnaji Bantala, the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao police chief when contacted while on his way to Tawi Tawi yesterday.
