KUALA LUMPUR: Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil wants the Social Welfare Department and Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) to discuss the possibility of waving the medical bill for a teenager who suffers from a rare disease.
The discussions would be held today to find ways of helping Saiful Azhar Noordin, 17, who has Klippel Trenaunay Webber Syndrome which caused his right leg to swell up due to benign tumour of blood vessels.
