PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has called on the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council to initiate efforts to give the world body a central role in the affairs of Iraq.
In his letters to the leaders of the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China, the PM called on them to support a resolution that could provide a meaningful and adequate mandate to effect the change.
