PETALING JAYA: A 27-year-old man who was driving home after a party thought that his friend was playing a prank on him when he received a call at 4.20am yesterday on his mobile phone, asking for help before the line went dead. 

Still, former remisier Pua Cheng Kee felt uneasy so he called back Ng Wann Tsair, 25. He managed to get through to his friend on the third attempt, only to hear him say repeatedly that he was going to die.
