IPOH: Construction worker Mok Chee Wai is getting closer to his wish of seeing his infant daughter lead a normal life following a remarkable response to his plea for donations for the girl's heart surgery.
“She will now undergo the operation on Monday (tomorrow) instead of May 5,” he told a press conference after receiving a RM12,000 cheque from Perak MCA Public Services and Complaints Department chief Datuk Lee Kon Yin yesterday.
