KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's well-organised national development plan to eliminate poverty could become a model for many countries in Asia and the Pacific, said United Nations Development Programme resident representative Dr Richard Leete.
He said the country's development plan had been remarkable due to the national policies adopted, particularly focus on growth with equity, clear strategies and commitment to achieving it.
