SINGAPORE: A Malaysian pharmacy chain boss was jailed for two months and fined for smuggling 750 boxes of bogus Viagra into Singapore, The Straits Times said yesterday.
While the pills contained sildenafil, the active ingredient in the anti-impotence drug, and the boxes had “Viagra” stamped on them, they were not the blue pills from pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, the district court heard.
