KUALA LUMPUR: Two foreigners were freed by a Sessions Court yesterday after they were found not guilty to two charges of using false documents in an attempt to cheat RHB Bank Bhd of US$200mil (RM760mil).
Judge Rosenani Abdul Rahman, in granting Korean Han Young-chal, 45, and Indonesian Yayan Sopiyan, 36, a discharge and an acquittal, said after considering all evidence and submissions from the defence and the prosecution that the prosecution had failed to prove a case against the two.
