PENANG: A whopping RM2.1mil worth of property was seized from drug traffickers under the Forfeiture of Property Act last year, state Narcotics Department chief Supt Hasbullah Mustafaa revealed yesterday.
The property seized included houses, jewellery, cash and vehicles. The bulk was purchased using money obtained from the sale of illicit narcotics such as heroin and amphetamine-type stimulants (ATS).
