KUALA LUMPUR: Sittings in parliament will not be broadcast live on television because it will take up too much airtime, said Information Minister Datuk Paduka Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir.
However, he said important events such as the opening of Parliament and the tabling of the Budget would be carried live when asked if the Information Ministry planned to televise proceedings in the Dewan Rakyat.
