PUTRAJAYA: The management of wakaf (endowment) property and the standardisation of Syariah laws in all states will be the main focuses of the newly appointed Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Dr Abdullah Mohamed Zin.
Dr Abdullah, who has been put in charge of Islamic affairs, said a department or institution would be set up to streamline wakaf properties in the country, as there was yet a specific party to handle the matter.
