KUALA SELANGOR: Its status as a new university will not deter Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) from continuing to increase its intake, said MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting.
Last year, 3,400 new students registered for various courses at Utar. The university is expected to have 10,000 students this year, 15,000 in 2005 and 18,000 in 2006.
