KOTA KINABALU: The five remaining hostages grabbed from the Borneo Paradise Eco-Resort in the east-coast town of Kunak six months ago are still alive and being held in the Tawi Tawi island chain in southern Philippines, police here said.
“We believe they are still all right based on the information we have received so far,” said Sabah police commissioner Datuk Illiyas Ibrahim.
