KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian economy is expected to grow by between 6% and 6.5% this year, substantially above the 5.2% gross domestic product (GDP) growth attained last year.
The Government’s buoyant estimate puts Malaysia’s economy on track to becoming one of the fastest growing in the Asia-Pacific this year, expected to be surpassed by only China, India and Thailand.
